Clifton upon Teme, Worcestershire
Walkers Wood was founded in 2020 by Ed Walker, a 9th generation farmer from Clifton upon Teme in Worcestershire. What started as a way to make productive use of timber from the family's organic farm quickly grew into a trusted firewood business serving homes and businesses across the region.
The Walker family has farmed this land for over 250 years, and that deep connection to the countryside runs through everything we do. We manage our own woodland sustainably, practising responsible forestry to ensure healthy regrowth for generations to come.
Every log we sell is grown, felled, processed and dried right here on the farm — giving us complete control over quality from woodland floor to your wood burner. It's firewood done properly, by people who genuinely care about the land it comes from.
All of our firewood is independently certified under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme — the UK's only quality assurance standard for firewood. This means every load is tested and guaranteed to have a moisture content below 20%, ensuring a cleaner burn, more heat output and less buildup in your chimney. It's not just better for your stove — it's better for the environment.
All our timber comes from sustainably managed woodland on our own organic farm. We practise responsible forestry, replanting and thinning to promote healthy growth and biodiversity.
We're a small, family-run operation — not a faceless supplier. When you order from Walkers Wood, you're dealing directly with Ed and the team who grew, split and dried your firewood.
We're Woodsure Ready to Burn certified — the UK's only official quality mark for firewood. Every log is split, dried below 20% moisture, guaranteed to burn cleanly and efficiently.

Premium hardwood, split, dried on our organic farm and delivered direct to your door across Worcestershire and beyond.
